Essential oils are what is considered to be more of a natural oil as it is the liquid pressed from a plant, tree, flower or a fruit. It is a very involved process to be able to distill essential oils. Essential oils can vary in price with some being very expensive based on how much work is involved and the amount of oil that is able to be extracted. Fragrance oils are not natural oils, but are synthetic/man made with pricing being generally close to the same between different fragrance oils. One is not better than the other, they are just different and each produce quality scents. Essential oils have more precautionary measures though, some are noted on the website under the Essential Oil page and FAQ’s.

Here are some tips/percautionary notes you should know about essential oil use. 1. Consult with a medical practitioner before using any Essential Oils. 2.Keep Essential Oils out of reach of children. 3.Never apply undiluted Essential Oils directly to the skin. 4.Never apply Essential Oils prior to being in the sun or right afterwards. 5.Never use pure Essential Oils with children or pets without consulting with a medical professional. 6. Discontinue the use of Essential Oils immediately if you have an allergic reaction, and seek medical advice. 7. Avoid contact with eyes. Rinse thoroughly with cold water and consult first aid measures if this happens. 8. If discomfort persists, seek medical advice. Essential Oils are for external use only. Wash hands after using Essential Oils. 9. Certain essential oils can become toxic if used repeatedly over time. 10.Certain medical conditions can be negatively affected by essential oil use so always consult your doctor before use. 11. Pregnant women should not use essential oils. 12. Essential Oils are flammable and should not be used close to a flame. Burners with a candle flame are NOT recommended. 13.Essential oils can be used mixed with water in a misting diffuser. 14. Please note that this list is not exhaustive and you should always consult with a medical professional before any Essential Oil use. Please practise safe Essential Oiling!

Yes you can! It’s my all time favourite and most safe way to diffuse a scent. Just be sure to mix them with some water. You never want to put a flame to any type of oil including fragrance or essential, as oils are flammable. Plug in diffusers that you put water and oil in together that mist the scent into your room are one of the safest ways to enjoy.

I do work daytime hours, so evenings or weekends is preferred. Don't forget your mask to wear while shopping in a relaxed and safe environment.
